What are Kitchen Curtains?

Kitchen curtains are generally pencil pleat curtains which are available in a shorter length making them perfect for smaller kitchen windows. They are usually made using a high-quality polyester, in a range of different coloured gingham fabrics. How to Hang Kitchen Curtains?

As kitchen curtains are pencil pleat curtains, they can be hung on either a track or pole. However, if you have the set you may want to hang them on a track. You will attach the curtain hooks at the desired height on the curtain header before attaching to the curtain track. You can gather the curtains so that the pleats sit how you would like. Make sure to bear in mind that the pleats may take a few days to smooth out once hung.

What is The Difference Between Kitchen Curtains and Café Curtains?

Both our range of kitchen curtains and café curtains are designed for use primarily in the kitchen; however, they are slightly different in style, application and use. Kitchen curtains are usually made using a thicker polyester fabric which blocks out the majority of light; and are generally made using a pencil pleat style header and work best when fitted onto a curtain track. Café style curtains are made using voile fabric which is sheer and provides privacy whilst still allowing light to come through; they only cover the lower third of most kitchen windows and can be threaded directly onto a curtain pole.
