1) In your own words describe your unique style and creative aesthetic?
The website design is directed towards our customers. We want to have a professional, orderly, and user friendly design for our customers to easily navigate.
2) When starting a new project, what is your creative process?
Our design projects begin with our customer’s needs. We try and see what other companies may be doing to help their customers and then try and improve upon that to directly fit our customers.
3) Out of the creative people you have worked with, who is it that you respect and admire the most?
Storage Sources Group was a group I worked with early on in Organize-It’s history and inspired many merchandising ideas and new products at Organize-It.
4) When looking for inspiration is there a particular thing you do to get inspired?
Listening to music helps with me work. Also attending trade shows and researching new products/vendors helps inspire me.
5) What has brought you to this point in your career? And what is your advice for people looking to follow in your footsteps?
Lots of hard work and long hours. As the home storage business evolves, we stay up to date with the changes and listen to our customer’s needs. We try to stay on top of the trend and evolve with home organizational needs. Also, we are constantly adding innovative and fresh products to our product mix. My advice would be to be ready to work a lot and to stay open to new ideas while seeing what your competition is doing and borrowing the ideas you think will work in your organization. Listen to your customers. They will tell you exactly what they want.
