1) In your own words describe your unique style and creative aesthetic?
My style is always evolving, but the constant would be simplicity and femininity. Soft color palettes, mix of textures, and lots of light.
2) When starting a new project, what is your creative process?
I usually start with a messy, raw brainstorming, where I freely write down words and ideas, and gather different objects and materials. I mostly work in an experimental way!
3) Out of the creative people you have worked with, who is it that you respect and admire the most?
I admire and respect so many creative people who are all inspiring in their own, unique way. One that comes to mind is Francesca who writes the blog Fall for DIY. Her talent and craftsmanship know no limit, her taste is impeccable, and yet she always remains humble, down-to-earth, kind and honest.
4) When looking for inspiration is there a particular thing you do to get inspired?
Inspiration is everywhere, but I have two major sources: a private Pinterest board where I file every inspiring thing that I come at while perusing the interwebs, and my travel journals and photos.
5) What has brought you to this point in your career? And what is your advice for people looking to follow in your footsteps?
Passion has brought me here, and I hope it will bring me further. Time, work and persistence play their part, but the root is definitely passion. My advice would be to keep going: keep working, keep learning, keep creating, and as Rashmi Bansal said (and Steve Jobs after him): stay hungry, stay foolish.
